I painted this on a drizzling day, this past summer. Oil on 16" x 20" canvas Please tell me what you think. I appreciate honest comments.

Artistically, you captured the feeling and that makes this a successful painting. Technically, you could improve it by selecting and clearly defining a focal point. My candidate would be the upper portion of the stream. I'd try to define it by greying the shore and darkening the foremost portions of the stream.

| I like it very much. I wonder if the water would not be a bit warmer and more transparent as it approaches the viewer. I also see the green bank in the foreground as almost a barrier, preventing the viewer from getting over the bank into the wonderful river. The proportions of this work are very good, and the drawing is fine. |
