I'd like to get some opinions on this. I painted this back in February, just about the same time I started to paint again after thirty some odd years. For awhile, this seemed to be the direction my art was taking. It's 16x20"' oil on canvas and depicts an area and theater that I frequented as a boy. Thanks.

Oh, Wow!! This is fabulous!! I have tried to do light reflections on the street, but mine didn't come out nearly as lovely as this. And, this is from memory?!?!?! I'm amazed at how well you painted after such a long absence. The sky, the lights in the windows, the headlights, the reflections, EVERYTHING! There is a delicasy in the brush strokes, as well. The total affect is one of depth to the street scene, and a warm coziness which makes this feel like Hometown, America. It draws me in. I want to go there.

Brian this is beautiful. I like the colors, the light, the sky and all the shadows.

Great painting. Very moving, active and you feel the hustle and bustle of an eveing on the wet streets. I like it. Keep up the good work.

Very nice piece. Looks almost like a Norman Rockwell. It certainly looks like small town America. Good prospective and you captured that balmy summer night in the little city. Keep painting.
