Oil on canvas

- This is painted from a photo i took in an local market in Mumbai. Please comment, I specially need help with the lighting. Thank you.

| This is an old painting i started 2 years ago that was rejected by a jury- so, after i got over that ( 2 years later!!)- I reworked it, so please comment without hesitation. |

My first thought was that I liked the addition of the sprig of flowers. I think the painting would have looked more cohesive if the pots were are painted in the same way. For example, the large pot on the bottom/front almost has a glazed feel to it.....whereas if you jump to the large pot on top of it and the one with the yellow highlights, they don't have that glazed look. It almost looks like two different styles combined in the same painting. You obviously have a talent.....so no more two year breaks!!!!

| Thanks Jess, for the words of encouragement and the comment about the glazing - i did not see it before, but you are right - i think the yellow looks too prominent. i will fix that. |

| Love the colours you used. Bright and bold. The flower adds a softness to it which draws you in. I think I get a bit mixed up with the shadows a bit. Lovely work. |
