Hello all. I'm a newbie to this forum and website. Wanted to share a recent oil painting I did simply called The River. Actual size is 16 x 20. It's actually the Upper Sacandaga River in New York State, and I caught the area on a particularly vivid cloud day. I snapped many photos, then came home to paint - I wanted to capture the feeling. I think I did. Hope you enjoy - let me know what you think.

Hi Nancie - this is really beautiful. Your clouds stand out and are very strong, they almost seem to be moving.
