I told ya'll I'd been busy painting. Just finished this one.  I've titled this one A Man's World.  This is all things that belong to either my husband or his Dad.  It's 18x24 Oil on Canvas. Hope you enjoy.

Peggy - I love it and the title is just perfect.  The light which you have captured on each item is great and gives a solid touch to it all.   Very nice.

Thanks, Maggie and River. I really enjoyed doing this one. This is another one that we set up in Ollie's studio and several of us painted. I'm still amazed at how different they all look. Mine is much lighter than the others and more detailed. I just can't seem to help myself when it comes to details, but then I guess that's the realist in me.

Peg, I absolutely love this painting. My Dad passed away 2 yrs ago & almost everything that
you have in that painting I inherited from him. The powder horn, pipe, duck decoys & several
flintlock pistols. Along with various books. The only thing that in your painting that I'm missing is
the watch. My sister has my Dads watch. This really struck home for me.

I'd thought on & off of doing a grouping & painting something similar. I love what you have
produced in yours.
Great job, and well... some of us just can't get away from that detail obsession. LOL
I'm one too & I just don't worry about it anymore!
