Here it is finished  I'm pleased with the end results and very excited to present it to the purchaser next week.  I was a litle nervous about putting in the poppies, but I'm glad that I did - I think it pushed the distance back a little further.  Do you agree?  For those of you who viewed in while it was in process, you can see that these colors are a lot more accurate.

I welcome any c/c as I can still make improvements for a couple of days.

Kim - absolutely beautiful.  Your painting makes one want to stand and just keep looking at it, then you notice more you did not see before (does this make sense?). Wonderful work - you should be very proud.  Great colors.

I starred at this painting a very long time. I absolutely love it, every aspect...the textures, color and landscape. If I may be so bold as to add my two cents in (and please don't mind me) This painting is very very good, and I have to ask about the orange hills here in the fore ground, what is growing there? Wheat maybe? I ask because to me this painting is so close to perfection, and one should not leave the viewer wondering...it's too mysterious to the point of looking like barren land when there's so much information suggested elsewhere...so much life and movement...so to me the hills seem incomplete. The other thing here that stands out odd to me is the farthest hills, just under the misty-blue mountains...they are too dark, making them seem too close. Only a suggestion, to perhaps glaze very lightly some mist on those far hills using the same misty blue...it will push the hills back farther. To me this IS beautiful Tuscany, the white houses and cypress trees...but somewhere in there, in the distance, add a few rows of grape vines...nothing spectacular, just a suggested impression of green rows. But your color choice is excellent, the complimentary orange to purple, a touch of red and the white with green. You got it kid!
