Hi - lovely picture. The feathers are so well done and the leaves are too. I would calm the yellow in the background (I did this too on my last picture) - seems to take over from the picture iteself. Otherwise, I think it is absolutely beautiful. How long did it take you to work on this?

I love this...wonderful bluejay. I agree with Maggie that you might lighten/soften the backround hues a bit...as the bird would pop more and not have to compete too much...but everyone has a different style. Really good work.

this one is 18 X 24. I have done a couple of other birds and plan to do more but I have also done a couple of landscapes and a couple of portraits

Very nice - I can see you are good at details - the eyes, the hat (I can never do lettering when I paint), and his glasses. You can feel him smiling and being a very happy and content. Do you have a website?

no website yet. I'not sure what to do. I'm not really making any income with my art yet and I don't have enough art to sell yet either so in time I guess things will happen. Thank you for the compliments
