I am back.  I have been away for awhile trying to put my new website together and then the last two months, over the holidays, everything went haywire, part of which was my father becoming critically ill and my brother and I having to make the decision to take him off life support.

I am back emotionally and physically, I now have my website up and announced to my list, and I do believe that I can finally say that I am officially back on a more permanent basis.

If you want to take a peak at my website it is at NaomisStudio.com.  It is very small for now; however, it will be growing!!!

Here is my most recent painting, which I finished in November.  "Love" 30" x 36" oil on textured gesso ground.

Welcome back, Naomi. This is really neat - I love it! I love how you have incorporated the curves throughout and the use of yellows and reds. There's a sweetness and innocence to it, too. I'll have to check out your website (the computer is REALLY slow tonight.)

Thanks Kim.  I actually sent out an e-zine announcing my new website at www.naomisstudio.com.  I have received numerous e-mails from individuals going gaga over this particular image.  I am enjoying working on this Emotions series.

Nice to see a familiar face back here.
Looked at your site and you have a lot going on there.
I liked the info on giclees too. This work is really very nice.
Your imagination and emotions can take you to alot of places.
Sorry to hear about your father. Hope you and you brother are

Hi Jim, it is great to be back. I am also glad to have the website up and running now and looking forward to getting back to painting this week. I have had a lot of feedback from individuals on my list just sending compliments on how much they love "Love," or asking for framing suggestios, etc. Now, I'll be really excited when I have an actual sale. Once I get that first sale, it will let me know I have stepped from the hobby world to the semi-professional world.

Carver, I absolutely love your work, so I bow and humbly thank you for your comments. Someday I hope to try my hand at portraits and see what I can do. I hope I have 1/10th of the talent you have when I make that attempt.

Thank you Gene. I don't know about this piece selling soon; however, I have definitely had a lot of great feed back from various sources. I am working towards finishing this series by the end of the year (nine paintings to go). I have had a couple people who know people, who know people, who know people at a local big name gallery and they believe they would be interested in my work. We'll see what really happens at the end of the year. You know how it is when people know people, who know people, who know people, when you get to the actual person, they say huh, what the heck? LOL :-)

Nice Work Noami. I also did visit your studio, went around a lot seeing paintings, meeting your fans and inspirers, only thing i missed was the hug. Sorry about your dad. I can understand your situation. I was in that situation once. It was my daughter. I am yet to come out of it.... I will never will......Thank god I am an aritst where I find a lap to put my head

Any way well constructed site. May be I will drop around often.

It was my mistake i have eaten away the h in my name. www.pbase.com/j_ramesh. You may also type jayaraj ramesh in yahoo search. It will show all sites where my art can bee seen. look for pbase website.
