Thank you very much... This is interesting, her mom called and said I captured her daughter spiritually, so she wants another one, and a portrait of her other daughter (who she says is a serious Cowgirl and very hot blooded) too!! So, I will post that one when I finish... I have to meet this young lady later in the spring...

Sorry for being away for a while, had some health issues... I appreciate your comments! My usual time to complete a portrait is about 3 to 4 months overall... How about you all, how long does it take you to complete a portrait?

Carver...what a marvellous portrait, you have done yourself well. Personally, I’m not sure more moodiness would do the painting justice; Laurens features are too gentle, and the soft background captivates her essence quite well in my opinion.
