Ok...finished...wasn't perfecly happy with everything...but had to decide if the goal was a perfect(?) angel...or a big standy for the yard by Christmas...! Little kids next door like it...hope you do!

Yes...(smile) ran out of certain colors...needed to get it out of the kitchen...to cook etc...so just went with
it as is for now...(maybe angels don't need to hold the trumpet up?!!) Our neighbors and their little kids aren't artists I guess...they never noticed!

The biggest things I found out were that painting that big uses a whole different set of muscles (large strokes, standing on chairs, sitting on the floor etc.) So even though I tend to be a larger canvas person (would rather landscape than clean a desk drawer)...this was harder than I thought. To fix anything I didn't really like I now realize I'd need to expect to take a lot more time.

So if you ever attempt anything really large...keep in mind you are covering the space (and therefore time and paint) of four or five
canvases.
