Christmas commissions are out of the way so I have time to just paint with no pressure now. Just playing with a self portrait. Lots and lots to do yet but will share what I have.

| ...this is great Margaret...are you still working on it? The frame is lovely so far and the paper is great as well. Tell a little of which direction you work on a piece. Does the backround get finished before the final touches on the hair and face? In this case of course there is an overlap of the backround...more tricky? |

Beautiful Maggie May! I really like the idea! What a new take on the self portrait and the name brings it home!
BTW, you may want to name the images differently, maybe put a 1, 2, 3, in the name. I had this issue when trying to upload revisions of a painting. |

Thank you Jim. I did have them named 2 3 4 etc. but 4 kept uploading for the wrong one and then when I named it 5 it changed the one up above so had to completely rename and re-up that one too. Strange. Will make less similar names in future. Naming files is a land mine area anyway. Thanks for your comments.  |
