15 x 15 Water soluable oils

When I started this it was my intention to glaze it - but I think I will save my first glazing attempt for an apple or something a bit more forgiving.  So, not sure if its finished yet, I kind of regret the size and placement but it does at least look like the 'sitter' - even his Mum thinks so.  I think one eye is bigger than the other so there is a bit of tweaking to do there.  Does anyone else find they spend the same amount of time doing the last 2% of a painting as the first 98%?
