It is just starting to aquire its white adult plumage, hence all the cute white tufts! That baby bird is already close to 2 feet high, Adult Albatross have a six foot wingspan. These chicks are amazing! The parents, being sea birds, will leave the chick just sitting there all alone (in Princeville on Kauai that often is on the golf course or someone's yard!) for more than a day while they fly out to sea to catch fish for the chick. The chick stays in the same place waiting for their return. Golfers have to "play around" the chicks! The Popcorn Orchid is 28 KB and the dimensions are 320 x 239 pixels. The Albatross Chick is 48 KB and the dimentions are 451x600 pixels. TheLady Slipper Orchid is 52KB and dimensions are 500 x 398. ...I am redoing the Popcorn Orchid: It is 80 KB with dimensions of 500 x 373. Now I will submit and see if the Popcorn Orchid goes through alright, in which case I have figured out the answer to my question!
