Subject: Music Series Finished with two more paintings

Hi there, I have finished two more paintings for this Music Series I started.

The first is called "My Friend", it is for a friend. The subject was killed by a drunk driver riding his cycle home from work.. I am mailing it to the recipient who's name is Oliv.  (the drummer in the previous painting I submitted)

The second painting is Eric Dolphy, who died at the age of 39 in 1964 from a diabetic coma.

The third is a photo of the series itself which some friend artists asked me to post so they could see them all together....

I hope you like them....

just beautiful!!...love the dark moodiness,bluesy smokey brassy feel to them....these would look fabulous is a blues club/restaurant!...congratulations on an incredible body of work!!!!

These are fabulous, and obviously personal and meaningful.  I love your style and its good to see them as a whole series.

These are really beautiful. Thanks for posting the pic of all the paintings hanging together. I agrree with OWS....they'd look great in a club or restaurant!

Good Morning, It is a nice overall body of work you've made here..., especially the mood you've created in each piece with the hazy atmosphere enveloping the figures, Do you have a website? Thank you very much Alfred, music can really get under your skin. I love it, have always loved it. combine it with the artist and the musical artist and it is an irrisistable thing.
