| Yea I tried posing a few times, and had one of my kids do a foot pose in an attempt to figure out what looked wrong with the back leg. I think the problem is that the back leg should have been tucked in closer and not able to see the whole leg ( there goes that left brain thing again aieaie aie) I was thinking at the time I drew it that the front leg was dropped on a little lower plane than the back one because it was sticking down into the water a little. I should have believed my eyes and changed it accordingly.
Yeah, I'm going to have to try the oderless paint thinner --or even at least get a thinning medium for the watersolubles. If thinned very much with water it tends to have a grainy and uneven consistency. Unfortunately I appear to be perpetually broke. Oh well.
I mainly gave oils a try because I got hooked on watching Bob Ross. Got to love his happy little trees
