This original oil 24 x 36" is one I did about 25 years ago. I am just posting it for comments and so it further shows my tendency toward using soft colors and blending in my approach to art. It hangs in our home and we've enjoyed it for many years. I have today added four more paintings - some sold - at my website for your review also. http://donnasartgallery.blogspot.com   I think looking at my work overall will be helpful in finding areas that I need to improve upon. I just recently tried - once again - a few small acrylic paintings and decided to give a voice to more color and lighting effects...haven't photo'd them yet but will do so and post on acrylic site for input there.  Donna Drickey

HI Donna.... I really like your painting!! :0 ) I think the tree and grass are very well done. I can see why you chose to keep this one to hang in your house.

I checked out your website.....your work is beautiful! I loved the lighthouse picture. It looked familiar to me and then I realized that I had done a painting of that exact same lighthouse....just from a different angle. (I found the picture on cafepress and decided to paint it in watercolor.)

Hello again Donna with the misspelled username! This is very well done. Your colors are very realistic and the subject lends to walking up on this site from below or something of that nature. The kind of thing that all of a sudden is in front of you and you have to stop and take it all in.
