Oil on canvas 20"x24" (50 x 61 cm).
May be it is temporary name...
I never painted in this way yet. This is my child's dream.
I spent a lot of time with this painting, looking for the images of old ships in libraries (finally drawed by myself using some references a bit), painting water, thinking and looking on paintings of old masters.

This is absolutely beautiful - rich color from sky through the water. It is so moving - wouldn't change a thing!

Gorgeous! I agree with everyone else's responses. It makes me want to create a story around it. Just curious - how long did you spend on the painting part?

Thank you very much for comments. I worked with this about 25 days, fixing mistakes, doing many changes, very slow, actually, thinking a lot - didn't paint without thinking, as soon I had idea what to do and how - I continued. Still I am not sure yet if everything is right with the ship. I actually could never find reference in the way I wanted. So, I have some doubts.

Absolutely Breathe taking I love it.
I have not visited this site for some time.
I recalled your user name and remembered some of your previous paintings.
I love all your rich colors - you certainly have mastered colors.
This painting feels predominately very Spiritual to me - Noah's Arc - HS

Hmmmm... This is right up my ally! I love the water and sky. A ship is something I've thought about doing from time to time but never did the research. As it's been said, it certainly paid off in this painting. Beautiful!
