This lady posed for our group.  I let myself go and took liberties with the coloring of the clothing and background.  Did I overdo it?  I am showing the original photo of the model and my rendition in oils on canvas.

Oh, she IS beatiful! Not overworked at all in my opinion.
Just a suggestion (and I'll try to explain) - in the photo of the pose, look at the cloth fold that is hit by the light just under her right (viewer's left) breast. There's a "line" that starts to slant downward as it moves to the left. I'm trying to determine if adding that fold will help (the breast looks like it could be "lowered" ever so slightly by adding the fold OR adding to the bottom of the breast - I can't quite tell.) Maybe just adding some darker shadow under her breast. And then again, it could just be me.

The photo reference show a softer, warmer person. The painting shows a harder person. If you soften
her eyes so they're not so intense and stareing it will make a difference. Eyes are the window to the soul.

I agree with Richard. That is the first thing I noticed. Soften the edges of her face and lighten up the shadow between her eyes and I think your good to go!
