Hi everyone...I thought I would share this with you. It is a WIP of a Cyberspace friend from Paris, who is also an excellant Artist as well as a Musician and Fireman.  He plays with the same group as the lady vocalist and the guitar player (who is named Niko) (Niko is Oliv's brother)..from my recent previous posts.

I  am doing this as another addition to the Series, and have a couple more that will follow, however they won't be from this group.

c.c. is so welcome , hope you like my beginning here.....

I really like where this is going. I always thought it would be hard to portray eyes behind glasses without losing the expression, but you have managed to do it well. Keep posting this one's progress please.

Hi Kim, I have been struggling with the size and shape of the cymbals as my reference was quite dark toward the bottom and there is a lot of tubular stands and things in the way, but with Oliv's help and by lightening up the photo I am back to getting a bit more work done on it.

Thank you for commenting on it, I appreciate it very much..

I was thinking... How did I miss this one. I really like the colors and contrast. If the far right cymbal is the hi-hat, you'll want to move it behind the bomb close to the snare, more like what you had in the first one. I think you have the typical size of it in a slightly open stance now. Hope this helps.

I think your picture is excellent.   I love the colors of the drum set.     I like the darker background in the first one.  Makes the drum set stand out more.

This is beautiful. One thing bothers me,, the drumstick that is in front of his face. I would like to see it someplace else. I love the whole piece idea, and composition tho. Beautiful color, and mood. Nice job!

I agree about that drumstick right across his face. Perhaps it could be moved to just above the drum head. It is kind of distracting where it is now...........I love the colors you used in the drum set..........Gene
