Hi Retha,
Having lived on a seacoast for years, I'm reminded of the violence of water under certain tide and wind conditions. I like it.

Really good color in this one, very pleasing to my eye. I especially like the reddish sand in the foreground and contrast of the collapsed wave that's almost spent the remainder of its energy.

I have a question............why did you paint as a triptych? Why not just paint it on one panel? Was there a special reason for this? Does it have hinges on the back so it can be placed on an angle?.......I think it is a lovely painting, but I would rather view it as one piece, myself. Gene

Hi Retha,

I saw this piece posted on WC and really liked it then, as well as now.  I think it would be lots of fun to try using three panels as you have done here!  Congratulations on the new opportunity!!!
