I really like what you did with the sky area, both pieces have a surrealist feeling to them. Only thought I have is about the water falls in the top piece. Maybe a little more contrast in the lights and darks. Perhaps darker with the white of the water fall over it. Water has a mix of hard and soft edges to it. Use some of the same dark that is around your waters edge, try putting it where the water falls over the edge into the pool than the contrast of the water frothing up will be brighter. Just an idea, from my view point. I do like the pieces.

Thanks to all of you who commented, I'll deffiniely take into consideration having more contrast with my waterfalls, I'll probably do that in my next painting.

Now I'd like to pose a question, how long did I take to complete each of these?

anyone care to guess?
