Congratulations on your winning. Will it be on a calendar or something like that? I have morning glories in my garden. You have depict them very well. I am wondering is there anyway to add more of a transparency to the flower? I have not oil painted enough to know. Art view: I am not sure there is anything more, but possible making one bigger for a point of interest. That is all I can even think, I see that the top violet one is slightly larger than the rest. Just a thought, not worth much. The colors are lush and rich, what oil paints do you use?

No it won't be on calendar or anything like that. Anyway, winning in a bunch of professional artists was enough of a delight for me. I use Grumbacher, Windsor Newton and Rembrant oils. Thank you so much for your comments, but I won't be doing any more on this one.
I usually have a stronger focal point, this one is subtle, depending on how one sees color it would be the top left red/violet or the bottom right red/violet, or others may see the blue as focal. On this painting I just liked the way it looked so called it done |

| Thank you everyone for your kind comments and warm welcome back. For a couple more weeks I won't be able to visit as often as I did, still working on the commission and other odds and ends. But will be popping in and out. |

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! I could see why this got award. The values are perefectly done.
From couple of days i was wondering to find how are my net friends. So I just dropped in. I have started with you. I will check others works too. Nice to be back. I haven't been painting for some time. Some personal preoccupation. When I start all over again I shall post them. |
