Nicely done, the focal point from what this photos shows, is the cloth. It pops out of the canvas clear and bright. The other objects do not have the same high value to them. The bottle in the background, even though it should recede, is mostly medium value and hue, it looks unfinished and dull, needs just a little spmething. Both slippers appear to be for left foot judging by the seam in the middle. Bottom slipper, if turned a little more into painting would not lead eye out of painting at the bottom.
Overall this is well done, just needs some tweaking. Especially the edges of the book, if the top of book had stronger values and lighted edges it would really pop.
This could be your personal style, if it is, ignore my critique. |
