| Hi Jim Merril,you asked where my reference
came from.My reference for my painting was
Edward Hopper's "NIGHTHAWKS".I used WC Fields,
Marilyn Monroe,Humphrey Bogart,and my two
brothers.I painted it as a gift to my brother
who is VP General Manager Universal Canada.
Every weekend he would screen pre-released
first run movies for family and friends.
Appropes "NIGHT AT THE MOVIES"

That's awesome Richard! Cool idea with the celebs at the counter. I don't know where you live or if you read my comment in the other forum......but I think there is an Edward Hopper exhibit showing until August at the Museum of Fine Art in Boston.

| Ahhh, yes. That was it. Good to see it again. Thanks for taking the time to re-post it. I'll have to go back to that restaurant and look at that print again. Someone did something between yours and Hopper's. |
