| And hello again. Thought I'd post this one and hear what you guys think. So many new names in here now. I'll have to spend some time looking at the new talent. So many artists to learn from. |

Wow! This is very cool. Is it an actual place or something you put together? It's a very specific moment in time. Great job on the details. It must have been windy that day to put your signal light on an angle like that. Nice touch. Jim

Thanks guys. It's a combination of a few pics I found in the Internet and some stuff I just felt like putting in.
Glad you noticed the angle on the stoplight. I thought that may go unnoticed. I have the motion in the headlights and wanted to bring movement up front too. You know what I mean... Look at the movement in your tropical painting Jim.
How ya feeling Heather? Doing any painting? |

Beautiful and yet kinda creepy with the fog and the windblown stop light. I like it!

I like this painting a lot. I would like it better without the lamp. I feel it disturbs the composition and distracts from the big picture. You've done a great job with color and mood. |

Hi Jim Merrill,
This painting reminds me of some good memories on the way home from travel. Very well done. I like it.

I just love how each interprets a painting on such an individual perception. That is the beauty of art... It's very subjective and defies scientific analysis.
I really like doing these silhouette over colors. They seem to pull something from the viewer. Thank you all for your comments and taking the time to write them down. |
