time to update on this gorgeous gal......sadly she is leaving me, but not quite yet.....
the frames didnt come in, and i chose a frame from one i had in stock...a very heavy solid wooden frame with linen liner..not white though its tan, the wood, i have two of these frames, is heavy, ornate and distressed without being foo foo....~grin~...its a chunky deep colored wood.....and surprised me when i put it on her....it looked good....so i entered her into pembrokes show and she got in....i got four pieces in for that show....no ribbons but exhibiting/marketing is my goal when i entered the shows...ribbons are a wonderful thing but not my sole purpose for entering....
i got a call from one of the original directors relaying that there was a person interested in purchasing her....after connecting with the customer it was a done deal....~clan mother~ will be shipped to michigan....but but but....the new owner permitted me one last chance to exhibit her in the big ole Plymouth show in sept.....chewing my nails till i found out.........but the painting will be exhibited again for a week in plymouths 40th annual art show...yeee haw!....and when i get her back she will be shipped out on her way!...i will miss her...she looked grand hanging on my wall, between the two shows...LOLOL
trying to cook up......which cat will be my next...i just cant help the fondness i have for lions.....but i need to move to another cat....either tiger. jaguar or leopard.....y'all will just have to wait to see!!!

| Very beautiful! The portrait of her is so nice! I like the way the ear doesn't show and enjoy how everyone has a different opinion about it. |
