She's looking great. One question, when do you get time to paint? You're one busy woman and obviously a great time manager as well. |

| OWS... Outstanding! I like the "out of focus" on the body and the stark contrast of the background. Will you bring her face further into focus and leave the body a bit blurred? I'd sure like to see progress on this. |

yupppers jim, thats exactly my plan.....i love to soften and leave out of focus areas, periphreal areas, less distinct, which sets it up so i can sharpen the detail on perspectively closer areas....in this case her head is my focal point....the rest is just supporting cast.....
i am forcing myself though, this morning to work on the african plains giraffe painting, and for my treat? i get to work on the lioness after......so hopefully i will have updates soon!!...thank you for the positive comments!! |

Hi OWS,
Wow, Outstanding. Yes, I can see the tip of her tongue.
I would like to ask you a few questions if you don't mind. -Do you use Liquin or transparent paint for glazing? -How many parts of liquin and parts of paint? -How many layers do you put on a painting? -Do you paint on canvas or board? -What kind of brush you use to glaze?
I hope I don't make you have a headache. Thank you so much in advance. Anna. |
