| I did this painting 35 years ago.She was a
friend of the family and had a regal look so
I asked her to sit for me. Lost a lot of detail
in the post but hope ther is enough to give
you the idea. Oil on canvas. 24x36 |

I like it! To me, she looks like an Italian matriarch. The light and shadows are very nice!

Yes, she was very happy and I gave her the painting. It hung in her home untill she died in 1992. Her name was Maxine and she was my wife's godmother.
