This is the painting I am currently working on. I am thinking a white background. Also any suggestions on how to display it without framing. (There may be no way around it I'm not sure) It is on a 4' x 4' graphite board.

Hi Jess, a flat white background could wash this out - notice that you have highlights along or very near some of the edges (the hip, hand on shoulder, etc.). However, it may also result in a nice feeling of lost edges, which can add a lovely feeling to the design and add depth. If you want to go with white, I'd suggest toning it with another colour;if you want the subject to "pop" off the canvass, put in the complement of green / if you want a more unified and harmonious feeling pick up perhaps the blue you used in creating your green.

I can't think of any way to diplay this without some type of frame or support, sorry.
