| Hello, I am new to this forum and wanted to post an abstract oil painting I did last year. I wanted it to be an emotional and expressive piece. It is titled "Exhuberance", all feedback and criticisms are appreciated. Thanks
Todd

| Abstract art does not recall or evoke reality, should aviod represrentation subject whatsoever, the elements exist for themselves, in that respect you have succeed. Is there any type of texture that I can not see in the photo? If there is not, it could be 1 one more element to deepen your work. scochran |

| It's interesting that you used horizontal brushstrokes and lines - they evoke a feeling of calmness / lack of motion / static energy. You nailed the primary colours for the title , but bringing in its complement, in strong diagonal strokes would help add to the energy. |
