Hi! I am new to this site and just wanted to share one of my floral paintings with you.  I would appreciate any comments and/or critiques. This is not well photographed so the area that appears white here is actually yellow must be a reflection from the camera or light.

I forgot to say that this is oil on canvas and 20 X 24 inches. LOL would forget my head if it were not attached!!

This is very well done.
Nice play of light on the petals.
It almost has a 3D affect.

Very nice work! I would make one suggestion though - the petal in the rear right is cut off, it would be better if that were included. One "comes into the painting" in the lower right quadrant and the lines take the eye to the upper right, so with the cut of petal, the eye stops and you need to "pick up your eyes" to move somewhere else.

welcome to the site!....vibrant colors!...nice contrast against the bg...i agree about the ~cut off~ petal...the style reminds me a bit of O'Keefe's larger than life florals....i always loved them!
