Here is a piece I did on black clayboard coloring with ink and color pencils. I did the jar using a fiber brush and ink washes.

WOW!  this is so beautiful and well done.  I am interested in your technique , did you scratch the board first then use the inks/pencils ? or did you apply the inks/pencils directly onto the clayboard. What type of clayboard did you use , is it for scratch work or ?

Please excuse all the questions but I am always interested in learning something new.

This is done on black claybord. I cleared the board, mostly with a fiber brush, and then inked it in layers. Sometimes I would scratch some ink off and reink. Then I used color pencils to clean up the lines. Here are some pictures of the work in progress.
