This is an 8X10 acrylic (used as watercolors) and pen and ink of Jonas. He had to be painted as he was thrown out in the snow to fend for himself in the pine barrens of NJ.

He wasn't even a year old. Comments on artwork welcome.

I haven't read much on you, but I'm assuming you rescue these big beautiful beasts?

Rescued 187 of these guys (in 12 years of rescuing). Fostered 99.9% of them before they were rehomed. Love to paint them. Published a book about rescuing them. See www.trafford.com and put "Heal My Broken Heart" into the search.
Change my style of painting once in a while. I put one up in the illustration section because I didn't know if it is an illustration or not.
