alo. Thought i might show a painting i did for a commission not too long ago. Its probably the smallest painting ive done this year and its still a 160cm tall. but yeh take a gander.

medium is housepaint (black gloss an cream matte) and a sprinkle of food colouring. The cheap artstudent shines through doesnt it....

i called it "reverence to a fragmented crucifix". I think i had just finished reading "Judge for Yourselves" by non other than the philosopher who is my screen name. Probably one of the main inspiration points for this work

the creative use of available material - love the food colouring - makes you creative, not just cheap. This work has depth, young Kierkegaard.

I am intrigued by this kind of work.
I had not spent but a few moments with the image
and my first impulse was to turn it 90 ccw.
'My minds eye' then has more open area to waunder, imagine, and create.
I like it. Very Captivating - and Still a very good 'Title' - to me.
