Hi Bert....

First off..... I really love the bottom of the painting. I think the grass and fence are nicely done and the shadowed land in the background really adds to the scene. The main thing that I think might need some work is the tree. The trunk seems a bit short and the branches look almost too straight, not natural. It might help to post your reference photo.
