The photo does not do right to the painting its one of those that does not want to be photographed.

Wow Retha! This is great work! I liked both the color combinations, but the first one is "first among equals". I see a lot of more action in the first version. What medium have you used to create this painting?

I like the swirling movement in this and the brighter colours in the vortex focus the viewer right there with all the action.

I like the later version better than the first.
The deeper blue is easier to look.
I still couldn't have it hanging on my wall though- the vertigo effect.
My first thought was tornado action, and my last thought was Consumed by Fire.
You did a great job on the effect.
(My eyes and head still bother me - how long will this last?)
Powerful colors.
