Hello to everybody,

I came across your website and thought I'd join to learn and to share some of my artwork.  I work in all types of medium and I have tried some sequin art. I'm attaching a tiger sequin art, feel free to critique.  All comments welcome.  The scanner caused  some reflection on the sequins.

Hi LMP 01,

This is wonderful!  Well done.  Could you tell me how you do the whisker; what did you use and how did you do it?

Thanks to nice comments Janey and Jess,

Janey, for the whiskers I used heavy bright white card stock that I cut into thin tapered strips with a pair of good scissors then I glued them into place.

Jess, this is something that I just thought about trying because I had quite a few sequins laying around.

Hi LMP01,

I have to say that you are very creative!  I guess you can't wash it?!  Looking forward to see more or your artwork.

Hi Janey,

Thank you for your compliment. No, it wouldn't be a good idea to wash it. I'll be posting some soon I hope. I just have to get it into digital format.

Hi Heather,

Thanks for the compliment. I had a lot of sequins laying around and I decided to try using them as my medium.

Hi Nanci,

Sorry for the late reply. I had been busy. Thank you for your nice comment. I have a few more pieces that I've done with sequins that I could post.

Hi Retha,

Thank you for your nice comment and for welcoming me. It really didn't take me that long to do, I think I worked on it for an hour or two. The hardest part was cutting some of the sequins to match with the curves and shapes of the lion.
