I need to get back to some more serious work but these are so much more fun and quick. I really don't like this one very much.......I think it's the trees.......any comments?

You may not like it, but I really do. I see a castle turret, lots of other things, and this has the feel of a futuristic landscape to me. It is a well balanced composition, and as usual the colors are pleasing to the eye.

Thanks for the comments! Retha, Did the demo help you any? I'm sorry it was split up into two posts. If I do another one, hopefully it will all be in one posting, thanks to help from Heather.

I just discovered you had a new one on here! lol I just love it! I love the contrast of the trees. Maybe you would like them better if they were a little more gnarled or gothic looking? It would add to the haunted, desolate, abandoned feeling. You need to be working for Disney or someone! You are so gifted! Truely amazing!

I like this picture. It makes me think of CS Lewis' "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe".......the part when they go to the Snow Witch's castle. Beautiful but a bit scary at the same time.

Man, what an imagination you have! It reminds me of black light posters we would hang in our dorms in the 70's. Jim

You truly have a style that is all your own. Sureal. I see that you let your mind move smoothly and creatively with no limits. Fanatastic. The curvature to you style is calming.

Have you ever tried entering these in shows or galleries? You need your own spot in NY at some of the galleries there.

No, I've never entered any of this type of work in a show. I have sold several of them but not through a gallery.

Too bad, I think they would make an interesting, unique, lovely display. People need to see them.

I think it is beautiful! My only critique would be that the tree on the right is definitely the focal point, but possibly to the extent that my eye has trouble getting away from it.
