I'm new to this website and a self-taught artist. I just finished reading your thread on "illustration or fine art". Very interesting. Not being schooled in art, could you please tell me if this is an illustration? I didn't think it would be considered fine art but didn't know what to call it.

Something can be both I believe. It is only closed minded art world snoots who don't know that. Your picture I think is both!

I agree with River!
I think this is both fine art and illustration.
(And although I've basically been doing just Graphic Design for 18 years, I do have an art degree!)
